Pastor Cody Watson

Cody was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. Cody didn’t come to know Christ until he was 18 years old. He grew up working in  Christian Youth Camps from  age 14 to 25. Around 2011, after finishing high school, God placed the desire in Cody’s heart to study at Word of Life Bible College. Cody has training in Bible, local church and outreach ministries. After two years, Cody felt a call to become a missionary in South America, where he served for three years while finishing his degree. With a Bachelors in Youth Ministries, Cody now serves as Youth Pastor at Friedens. Cody has a passion for sharing the gospel and making disciples. He leads a weekly Bible study for the youth every Sunday at 4:00-5:30 PM.

 

 

WHAT IS IMPACT Bible Club?

IMPACT is the name of our youth program here at Friedens UCC.  Every Sunday from 4:00-5:30pm

Pastor Cody leads a Bible Club for  youth in junior high and high school.  Students are learning how to study the Bible and share the truth outside of the church walls. This program allows the youth to be engaged in their walk with Christ.

Also, we have lots of fun every week! There is always food, games and exciting learning opportunities in the program!

WHAT IS IMPACT CONNECT GROUP?

Starting Sunday September 16th we will be meeting every Sunday @ 10am between services! We will be studying more in depth in the Bible opening with the ”Gospel Project!” In addition, we’ll have a great time of fellowship and prayer! You do not want to miss out!! There will be breakfast!
